About US

Founded in 1989 by Anita Bartholin Brandt, a graduate of the Masters of Architecture program at M.I.T., ABBArchitecture provides a full spectrum of architectural services.  Our projects range from the redesign of a 45,000 square foot landmark building in the Ladies Mile District in Manhattan, to a renovation of a historic home in Forest Hills Gardens, Queens. ABBArchitecure’s specialties include historic restoration, renovation, interior design, and new construction.

Anita is an active member of Manhattan’s Community Board 2 (a district that includes Greenwich Village, SoHo, NoHo, and the Meatpacking District) where she sits on the Landmarks Committee and is co-chair of the Land-Use Committee.

“With pride and passion for everything we do, our work reflects the special attention required for historically sensitive restorations and renovations of landmark buildings including their facades, interiors, infastructure and structure.”

“My team and I bring creativity to every assignment. Our approach to excellence begins with carefully listening to each client’s requirements and aesthetic sensibilities. I'm proud of the professional and personal relationships that grow with each project. Year after year, as past clients recommend us to new clients, we celebrate the rewards of excellence."
